hey, sorry i did not specify, i am a left handed hitting catcher, however i played 3B, LF/RF, 1B throughout college at the D1 level also. i dont pitch, but i am an accomplished hitter and play solid defense everywhere other than catcher where i consider myself above average defensively. the only hole in my game is my speed (surprising to hear that from a catcher, eh? ha) but i dont clog the basepaths, and since i have never been blazingly fast i turned myself into a top-notch base-runner, but still i wont be hitting many triples in my career. but again i dont want to give my resume, that accomplishes nothing, like i said i was trying to find out ways to get as many coaches/scouts to see me as possible because i know thats all it would take. if there are any things i dont know about other than tryout camps for individual teams or league wide tryouts then i would love to find out and hear any way to get people to see me play baseball who are involved with independent leagues. thanks for the help.

    Sorry for the slow reply.
Since I am in no way connected to the team and am clearly no judge of talent or team needs, my advice would be to contact Tagert with the RailCats. He has some pretty strong connections with the Frontier League and is a pretty sharp guy. The RCs have a rookie catcher back from last year and signed a Japanese fellow a few days ago. I have no idea about anything beyond that. We could use another lefthanded bat, that's a fact!

I'd go for it. The Steel Yard is a great place to play.
